When cooking beef, veal, or bison, we've found that more simple seasoning is the way to go.  Heavy salt and pepper should be the stars, and bovine purists (hey there, Texas!) would say they're the only seasoning you need, giving leeway for a touch of cayenne or other chili pepper.  Fode & Beed generally stay on the outskirts of sugarville when cooking red meats, but we've also added a few savory spices to the classic S&P mix to create the red-'n-dead rub below.  Enjoy!

  • Black Pepper
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Salt
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Red Pepper (optional)
